President – Harish Narayanappa, P.E., PTOE

Mr. Harish Narayanappa, P.E., PTOE serves as President of EPIC Transportation Group, LP and Manager of Traffic Operations/Engineering. His other responsibilities include Business Development, Administration, and Human Resources.

Mr. Narayanappa graduated with a Master of Science (MS) in Civil Engineering (Major: Transportation) from Virginia Tech, followed by 18+ years of experience working for consulting firms in California and Texas.

Mr. Narayanappa’s experience includes performing traffic engineering studies; designing PS&E packages for signing & pavement markings, traffic signals, TCP, illumination, HOV lane ITS infrastructure; signal timing & modeling; and transportation planning.

A Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Texas since 1997, Mr. Narayanappa is also a Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) since 2002. In his career, Mr. Narayanappa has successfully won and/or managed several prime contracts and numerous sub-contracts for agencies and private developers.

Principal – Zameer Ahmed, P.E.

Mr. Zameer Ahmed, P.E. serves as Principal of EPIC Transportation Group, LP and Manager of Traffic PS&E Design. Additionally, Mr. Ahmed manages Contracts, Procurement, and Quality Assurance/Quality Control for the firm.

Mr. Ahmed graduated with a MS in Civil Engineering (Major: Transportation) from Oklahoma State University, followed by 20+ years of experience working as a consultant in Texas.

Mr. Ahmed’s experience includes designing highway and tollway related PS&E packages for illumination, traffic signals, signing & pavement markings, ITS, SW3P, TCP, minor roadway and drainage improvements, bicycle & pedestrian facilities etc.

A P.E. in the State of Texas since 1998, Mr. Ahmed has successfully managed several prime contracts for government agencies throughout Texas.
